Note: Remember (especially if you are new to Wicca or the subject of divination) that if it is said that you are going to fail or something that you have the power to correct it. You have the power to change the future dont just sit there & wait for it to happen just because runes or tea leaves said it would. E.g. If it said you were going to die of a car accident tomorrow does that mean that you just go into the car & wait for it to happen? No you stay away from the car, the road or anywhere that it is possible to happen. You can change the future if you want to! If you are new to Runes or any form of Divination dont everything too seriously; your new you have lots to learn! My mum used to say that Divination needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, another words lightly not completely off your rocker serious! Runes Feoh (Fee) Feoh is the first of all the rune rows. Enjoy & Blessed Be! J Ar*z (Desiree) Steps to setup the circle... 1. Draw up the circle so that it is big enough to fit you & anyone else who is casting it with you. It can be done with chalk or flour almost anything but make sure that if you use the flour you can sweep it away & with the chalk you can wipe it away. 2. Place the elements in their right places. (North-Air, East-Earth, West-Water & South-Fire) Purify Water by dropping a pinch of salt in the water while saying something like: With this salt I purify this Water so mote it be! 3. Make sure you have everything you need inside the circle so that you dont have to get up cut a door, get it then close the door again as that can be really frustrating. I.e. matches, your phone if absolutely necessary, your BoS, any sheets of information required... 4. Start at the east (or if you want you can start wherever your zodiac element lies. See zodiac for further info.) then as you walk around the circle chant something like or similar to thus: In this circle that I cast Dont let any negativities past Let only light within these walls Powers of light hear my calls You should end up going round the circle twice. 5. Invoke the elements. Start with the north or again you can start with your zodiac element: Light a match and when lighting the incense chant something like thus: Elements of Air I now call on thee, To my circle in perfect harmony. Keep safe all those within these walls Elements of Air now hear my calls Then move onto the other elements changing Air for each: Light a match & when lighting the candle chant the rhyme for Fire. Hold your hand over the Purified water & chant the rhyme for Water. Hold your hand over the stone or dish of earth & chant the rhyme for Earth. 6. Invoke the deities. Chant something like the following: For the Goddess: Mother Nature I call on thee, Mother Nature come to me. Protect me from all of evils spells, Send them back to where the evil dwells. For the God: O horned God of power & might, Encase thy circle with magical light. Keep all evil at bay, Protect me from all harms way. 7. Then you may begin. But do well to remember the Wiccan Rede: An ye harm none do as thou wilt & the law of three: What harm you inflict will come back to you threefold but what good you do will also come back cut three times good. Closing the circle~* Again derived from my own BoS. Again feel free to change anything to suit your needs & wishes as this is only a basic Circle closing. 1. Thank the Deities. For the Goddess: Mother Nature I thank thee For watching over my circle in perfect harmony. For the God: Horned God, I thank thee, For your protection over me. 2. Thank the elements. Start at North or again your zodiac element Doesnt have to be complex it can just e something like: Air I now thank thee, For watching over my circle Whilst holding your hand over the ashes of the incense. Repeat with the other elements. 3. Sweeping the circle (flour only) Grab your besom (see glossary) & start at North or again your zodiac element & begin sweeping chanting something like: Sweep sweep this circle away, Dont let any bad energies stay. Keep this space in the light, As I will, as I might! You should have gone around the circle once. Now you can sweep spotless... |
